Your Portrait

A portrait is a very personal experience. At Two Photagrafers, we strive to make this life experience as enjoyable as possible.

Here are a few hints to help you achieve the best possible portrait:

Get a good nights sleep.

Be prepared - bring hair products and makeup for last minute touch-ups.

Bring a quiet friend to help with your clothing, make-up, and hair.

If possible, ask your eye-care professional if you could borrow a blank frame of your eye-wear, this will alleviate any glare.

Wear current fashions, be current.

Bring several changes of outfits. Bring casual, semi-casual, business casual, and business attire for your choices.

Wear colors that flatter you for your portrait. Unless you are a redhead, your best color is a mid to dark blue.

It is best to wear mid to darker colored clothing. Best colors are blues, blacks, browns, greens, reds, and grays.

Stay away from colors that are close to your skin tone.

Avoid whites, pinks, yellows, light greens, and light reds. Basically, any color that is close to your skin tone.

Have your hair styled weeks before your appointment, not the day before. Give yourself time to grow into the style.

Avoid any and all confrontations prior to your photo shoot.

We want you to enjoy your portraits for many years. These suggestions will make you proud to show your friends and family.
